The Problem
Buyer psychology has changed in the age of AI. In 2026, what you think is a marketing problem could be an offer problem.
AI came along and the ground shifted. AI handed buyers a free, good-enough version of what many businesses sell. Good enough and free will always beat better but expensive. That's Buyer Psych 101.
Before we diagnose marketing, we make sure there's a marketing problem to solve — not an offer that has been made obsolete.
The Two-Phase Format
Phase One — The Offer Check
We examine exactly what you sell and figure out what still matters. Is your product or service still viable in 2026, or has AI handed your buyers a free version of it?
If the offer needs work, we start there — engaging in a full First Principles redesign of your offer itself before we ever touch marketing. If the offer is solid, we move straight into Phase Two.
Phase Two — The Castle Guard Diagnostic
Your team runs the 16-point Castle Guard diagnostic live with Katie on your actual campaigns, messaging, and offers. We identify the specific psychological guards (Drive, Identity, Risk, Pattern) blocking your buyers and build a clear action plan to address them.
Your team will use this framework as shorthand within a week.
Deliverables
- AI-Forward Offer Redesign (if applicable) — A completely redesigned offer or service that still sells in the age of AI.
- Framework Fluency — Drive, Identity, Risk, Pattern — shared language your team uses immediately.
- A Prioritized Growth Protocol — The specific 2–3 Guards and top 3–6 Micro-No categories most likely to block your product, with solutions for each.
- The 16-Point Guard Scorecard — A reusable internal tool to vet every future campaign, landing page, and offer against the hidden psychological filters of your buyer.
- Custom AI Guard Prompts — Turn your existing AI tools into a high-speed diagnostic machine — a 24/7 behavioral analyst on demand.

Who This Is For
This intensive is designed for:
- Leadership teams, marketing teams, or small internal groups who are close to the product and invested in the outcome
- The sweet spot is four to eight people in the room — small enough for full participation, large enough to leave aligned
- Teams where the people in the room have direct involvement in what is being sold — the deeper the embed, the better the diagnostic
- Expertise-based businesses, product companies, SaaS, professional services — any team with an existing offer in market
This intensive is not designed for solo founders (see: What Would Katie Do? for 1:1 sessions).
Half-Day or Full-Day?
Half-Day — One Problem. One Session.
If you already know which piece needs work — the offer or the Castle Guard diagnostic — a half-day is built for that. One focused phase, done thoroughly. Also the right call for smaller teams.
Full-Day — Both Phases. Complete Picture.
If you suspect the offer and the marketing both need attention — or if you're not sure which it is — book the full day. Both phases in sequence. You leave with the complete picture.
The full day can also be split into two half-day sessions for teams where energy and bandwidth are a factor.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size teams is this designed for?
Designed for established marketing, product, or brand teams — typically 4 to 8 people for maximum engagement. Works for focused sub-teams and full department-wide training days.
Can this be done virtually?
Yes. The intensive is equally effective virtually or in-person. Katie works with distributed teams regularly.
Do we need to prepare materials in advance?
Yes. Before the session, Katie reviews your current campaigns, landing pages, or offer materials. The more specific you can be about where you feel stuck, the more precise the diagnostic.
What if we only need one phase?
A half-day is ideal when you already know whether you need the offer check or the Castle Guard diagnostic — not both. Book a discovery call if you're not sure and Katie will help you choose.
How is this different from hiring a marketing consultant?
Most consultants prescribe tactics. This session diagnoses the psychology first — then the right tactics become obvious. You leave knowing exactly which guard is blocking the gate and what specifically to say to open it.
